BaylorUniversity Medical Center at Dallas (BUMC)is a distinguished teaching hospital located near downtown Dallas and is continually recognized by US News and World Report as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation. The medical center is comprised of six hospital buildings offering multiple clinical specialties including trauma services (Level I Trauma Center); heart, lung, kidney and liver transplantation; left-ventricular assist (LVAD) implantation; Level III NICU and blood and bone marrow transplantation. 
 
The Nurse Practitioner evaluates, plans and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician. Perform clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician according to approved protocols. Initiate and change orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician. Develop and maintain active practice in facilities.
 
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, a current Texas RN license, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner license, an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a minimum of one to two years of Nurse Practitioner Transplant Heart and Lung experience. CPR/BLS certification required.
