Apogee Physicians is looking for Nurse Practitioners who want to become inpatient experts. As a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist for Apogee Physicians, you will exam and treat patients in collaboration with Apogee physicians.
Apogee Physicians works in close partnership with the staff at Moberly Regional Medical Center, a 103-bed hospital. Moberly Regional Medical Center is a full-service hospital providing quality healthcare to a five-county market base of over 65,000 citizens. A 24-hour physician staffed Emergency Room treats over 15,000 patients every year with patients having an average visit time of less than 2 hours. Specialty services include a Heart and Vascular Center, a Sleep Disorder Center, a GI/Endoscopy Lab, a Medicare/Medicaid approved Skilled Nursing Unit, and excellent surgical services.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Patient admissions; completing patient progress notes, patient education, prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, recommending therapeutic interventions and patient discharge summaries.
General requirements for Apogee Nurse Practitioners:
- Current state RN and Nurse Practitioner license
- Master’s degree
- Current BLS, ACLS prescriptive authority
- Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience in internal medicine preferred
