Orthopaedic Group seek to add another full-time Physician Assistant. This PA will support a very experienced and well-respected General Orthopaedic Surgeon. This Doctor handles a strong volume of athletic injuries, total joint, trauma and general cases. The position will include both OR and Clinic. The group has their own state-of-the-art Imaging and PT Center. This position has no weekends or evenings.

Responsibilities include: patient evaluations and education, H&P’s, removing casts and pins, consultations, ordering and reviewing lab tests, writing scripts, rounds, injections, and first assist. The new PA will have the opportunity to run a Clinic. There is the potential for some sporting event coverage (if desired). The group would prefer candidates that are NCCPA-certified and that must already have a Texas license or one pending. Prior experience as an Athletic Trainer, Nurse or an Orthopaedic Technician would be preferred as well. The Doctor will train a new graduate with a strong desire for orthopaedics. The location is in a beautiful suburb of the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area. The new PA can be in downtown Dallas in 25 minutes.
