Single Specialty Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another Physician Assistant. The PA will be part of a team that supports two Orthopaedic Surgeons. Both Doctors handle very well developed practices and do total joints, shoulder and knee reconstruction, fracture care, and general orthopaedic cases. The position will be mostly hospital or surgical based. There may be the opportunity to work in the clinic within the next year. Responsibilities include: pre and post-op consults, first assist, joint aspirations and injections, write scripts, hospital rounds, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Call is 1/4 (not a Trauma Center). Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Previous orthopaedic experience is not required, but candidates must have completed an orthopaedic rotation.

The location is within 50 to 60 minutes of Kansas City. The area provides a great life style with a very reasonable cost of living and solid school systems. Base salary range: Open, plus a bonus.
