Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a full-time PA or NP to work directly with a well-established General Orthopaedic Surgeon. Procedures performed include: arthroscopic surgery, shoulder and knees, total joints, fracture care, and athletic injury. The new PA/NP would eventually run an Orthopaedic Clinic. This position will be based 100% in the Clinic. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are no weekends or evenings! Also, there is no call.
Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist, review lab results, cortisone injections, treat basic fractures, hospital rounds, casting and splinting within a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. The practice will train a bright and hard working new graduate. The group would prefer candidates that have ties to the upstate New York area. The Saratoga location is 20 minutes to the Albany area. Saratoga has Skidmore University and a racetrack as well as many cultural amenities. The new PA/NP will enjoy year round outdoor living, reasonable cost of living, and all the amenities of a great area!
Compensation: There is a solid compensation package. After one year of successful employment, there will be a bonus program. Additionally, there is a full benefits package (medical and 401k).
