Surgical Physician Assistant - south of DC

Hospital practice in Virginia about 1 hour south of DC and north of Richmond is seeking a Physician Assistant with surgical first assist experience.
 
Assist the supervising physician in the management of patients, and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the physician’s supervision. Provide first and second assistant surgical services to adult cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. Hospital rounds are required. Willing to train PA in cardiothoracic as long as they have solid surgical skills.

Ideal candidate:
PA-C
2+ years of recent surgery experience; cardiothoracic experience is a plus
Laparoscopic surgery skills
Endoscopic vein harvesting experience a plus
Virginia licensed or eligible
