PhyAmerica Government Services, Inc. is currently seeking 2 full-time, Board Certified, Internal Medicine Physicians for the Internal Medicine Clinic, Naval Medical Clinic Portsmouth, VA.  Work as an independent Contractor, competitive remuneration with malpractice insurance provided to include tail coverage.

Duty hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm.  No call and no admitting.  Provide a full range of Internal Medicine services; e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunization prescriptions, diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited college, or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree (DO)
• Possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in one of the fifty states
• Possess Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Possess at least 1 year experience as an Internal Medicine Physician within the last 2 years
