I see “PRN” or “Per Diem” on a job posting. What does this mean?
Medcor offers a variety of positions. Work statuses of these positions include Regular Full Time, Regular Part Time, and PRN or Per Diem. The descriptions for each of these are as follows: Regular Full Time: A position that is regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per week Regular Part Time: A position that is regularly scheduled to work between 16 and 30 hours per week Pro Re Nata (PRN)/Per Diem: “For an occasion that has arisen; as needed”. PRNs do not have a set schedule. They are used on an on-call basis.
