Accounting ManagerSalary: $61,042 to $66,882 Annually Employee Benefits: Health Insurance (agency pays all but $15.00 per month for employee only), Dental Insurance (agency pays all cost for employee only), Life Insurance (agency pays all cost for employee coverage that's equal to 1 ½ time annual salary, with employee option to purchase additional coverage for employee and/or spouse, Sick Time (accumulate 8 hours per month with maximum 1045 carryover hours per year), Vacation Time (accumulate 9 to 15 hours per month depending on number of years employed), Paid Holidays (10 paid holidays off per year), Bereavement Leave (up to 3 paid days of bereavement leave), 403-B Retirement (employee contribute 5%-30% of salary and agency match 6%).
Job Description: Provides supervisory and hands on work in accounting and finance including functions such as: General Ledger, Grant Billings, Accounts payable, Cash Receipts, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Audit Preparation, Account Reconciliations and other duties as assigned.
Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an accounting office environment; Health related entity experience a plus.Hours of Work: 8 am-5 pm; Monday through Friday, occasional overtime maybe required.Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license, and must be insurable by Agency insurance.Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time; to lift at least 40lbs, use of 10 key calculator; to communicate effectively; Word excel, and computer literate; ability to work closely with others, knowledge of accounting and financial principles; ability to comprehend and implement program required changes.Facility: Administration, Bryan, TX.recblid v4m3f9bkdhtbyat558n25z2g2sqqrc
