Administrator: Professional Development

This full-time administrative level position is within the Professional Development department.

General Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the professional development department and other departments to coordinate training needs
  • Coordinate, schedule, and support training department schedules (e.g., yearly refresher trainings, guest-speakers, orientation groups, and graduate course)
  • Monitor & up-keep systems to ensure staff have sufficient training hours to meet licensing requirements
  • Assist in onboarding processing for interns
  • Assist graduate school professors with technical support & room needs
  • Monitor and upkeep systems related to professional licensure & certifications
  • Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Studies to support on-site graduate programs administrative tasks
  • 10-hrs a week supporting NECC administrative needs (e.g. special events, school-wide schedules)

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with technology (e.g., Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
