ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- A licensed and credentialed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides diagnosis, treatment, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies, professional consultations and provide direct patient care services and follow-up (depending on the state licensure) under the supervision of physicians. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- Completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.
- Certification in nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center or Americal Academy of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
- Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
- Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) highly recommended.
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Personal
- Works effectively with all levels of staffing, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
- Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
- Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Professional/Educational
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
