What You'll Do * Perform physical assessments; prescribe and monitor the use and prescription of medications & monitor the physical health of clients who are using pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic interventions. * Provide primary care and preventative care for individuals of all ages. * Chart medications and maintain accurate and timely documentation for medical records, working within Organization policy and procedure and quality assurance standards * Maintain level of direct service and utilization of time to meet clinical need and financial goals for the support of the position and consults with the Continuum Directors and Chief Executive Officer regarding program planning, design, and function * Be a part of a collaborative team of medical professionals in a work environment that can sometimes be stressful and that sees a variety of groups of people Good To Know * Position is based in Anchorage & Fairbanks, Alaska * Full-Time, Exempt * Position is eligible for up to $25,000 Signing Bonus based on length of commitment * AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 3% automatically contributed by AKBH, and 3 weeks of PTO for the first year, and 6 weeks of PTO after the first year, as well as 10 paid holidays. What We Need from You * You have a Master's Degree in Nursing and Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. * You have a Current Alaska APRN License and Current DEA certificate * You are experienced in the provision of primary care to all ages and have a comfort with chronic mental illness in the individuals you serve.
