AEMT
The primary responsibility of the Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) is to respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured and to transport the patient to a medical facility, while in consultation with the physician or physician assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION:
- Current Kansas AEMT license or ability to obtain licensure per Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services regulations.
- Current Valid Driver's License with no restrictions limiting driving.
- BLS - Obtains RQI BLS certification within appropriate quarter (approximately within 3 months of hire), maintains quarterly RQI requirements.
- ALS- Obtains RQI ALS certification within appropriate quarter (approximately within 6 months of hire), maintains quarterly RQI requirements.
- PALS- Obtains RQI PALS certification within appropriate quarter (approximately within 6 months of hire), maintains quarterly RQI requirements.
EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred, but not required.
