Are you ready to be the ultimate teammate in the operating room? As an Anesthesia Technician, you are the backbone of surgical preparation. You will work directly with anesthesia providers to prep, set up, and maintain critical life-support and monitoring equipment. Your speed, precision, and technical skills ensure that both routine operations and complex, high-stakes surgeries run perfectly.

Your Impact

  • Own the Setup: Acquire, assemble, and test specialized supplies and anesthesia delivery systems before every procedure.
  • Support High-Stakes Cases: Deliver crucial, real-time technical support during both routine operations and complex, fast-moving surgeries.
  • Master the Tech: Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced patient monitoring devices to ensure absolute safety.
  • Manage the Lifecycle: Keep the operating room ready by maintaining equipment integrity before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
  • Collaborate for Success: Thrive under the leadership of the Anesthesia Technician Supervisor to keep the surgical department running flawlessly.

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.87 - $24.88

Qualifications

Education:

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • Prefer post-high school training in the medical field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical facility.
  • Prefer one (1) year experience in an operating room.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center and will be required within three months.
  • Ambulatory Clinics: Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
  • Requires knowledge and skills in medical practice.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills to enhance and encourage collaborative staff and community relationships.
  • Must be able to respond quickly and must be familiar with surgical procedures.
