Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Sioux City, Iowa

A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

This opportunity starts July 1st and is ongoing, with a Monday through Friday schedule of either 7 AM3 PM or 7 AM5 PM, rotating weekly, and a 40-hour guarantee. The call schedule is 1:9 with two call backs per month and 23 weekends per year, though CRNAs are not expected to take call initiallycall is covered by MDs. There are typically 47 shifts per day. Case types include general, ortho, pediatrics, OB (c-sections only), and limited cardiac cases like ablations and cardioversions. There is no trauma or neuro. The model includes supervision and medical direction, with 12 physicians always on call. The facility has 6 ORs and 1 GI procedure room, uses Epic for EMR, and the team consists of 2 MDs and 10 CRNAs.
