Java Developer Lead (Backend) | Hybrid | McLean, VA or Plano, TX

W2, Payrate up to $85.00/hr- pay rate just subject to experience level

I'm currently hiring for a Java Developer Lead to support a major enterprise initiative with a Fortune 100 financial services organization.

This is a highly technical, backend-focused role working on the next phase of a large-scale application modernization effort. The ideal candidate will bring strong Java development expertise, cloud experience, and a passion for leveraging AI-enabled development tools.
Location

? Hybrid (2 days onsite: Monday & Wednesday)

Candidates must be able to work from one of the following locations:

• McLean, VA
• Plano, TX

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead backend development efforts for enterprise business applications
• Design and develop solutions using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and enhance business process automation capabilities
• Develop cloud-native applications within AWS environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and software delivery
