Under general direction, our Epic Analyst participates on cross-functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot complex problems across multiple domains. They translate business requirements into technical solutions and conduct quality reviews of system builds.
The ideal candidate has experience with project coordination of technology projects, process improvement, and understands cross-functional application integration (i.e. how clinical applications connect with scheduling, billing, ancillary applications, etc.). This role will be expected to have a strong understanding of the core foundational build of Epic Professional Billing (application build, implementation of add-ons, and deployment of enhancement and optimizations to the module.)
This is a full time, salaried position and offers Scripps Health's award-winning benefit package, with potential for a 9/80 work schedule. This role is currently a work-from-home position, however, does require location in San Diego, CA. Includes $5,000 retention incentive and $5,000 relocation assistance to eligible new hires. Must already be Epic certified/accredited in order to be eligible for incentives.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Has led small projects or technical activities.
Business acumen in functional area. Bachelors degree
Epic Resolute PB certification/accreditation and prior experience implementing and/or supporting the Epic PB Resolute application
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Required Certification/Registration:
Ability to obtain Epic Resolute PB Certification within 6 months of hire or 90 days after last class
