Position Purpose: This role will be responsible for the analysis and assistance to the development team to design and develop scripts for our customers using our Enterprise Scheduling Tool (Automic, Tidal and Control M). Make recommendations on best practices of scripts and workflows with tools used in batch scheduling and MFT (Managed File Transfer). Will meet with departments and Healthplans to help design Workstreams to run more efficiently and document recommendations used by development team to create scripts. Technical knowledge and ability to create scripts as well as Enterprise Operations experience is required to be effective in this role. Involvement in projects to migrate current scheduling tools to Control M over the next few years. * Contribute to the entire implementation process * Understand business needs and contributes to overall solution design * Responsible for build and test, root cause analysis, and performance tuning * Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives * May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Write manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. * 1+ years of systems, infrastructure, or IT process analysis experience. Preferred: * Experience working in a Enterprise Operations/Data Center environment * Analysis experience similar to a Business Analyst which requires analysis and documentation of recommendation of findings * Experience creating scripts and workflows used in Batch processing * Experience with scheduling tools such as AutoSys, Tidal, Automic or Control M. * ITIL Foundation. Familiarity with Microsoft Applications. Familiarity with Visio and Sharepoint preferred. * Focused or Point solutions, single functionality point.
