Position Overview:

As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing computed tomography scans and ensuring accurate imaging results. This position offers a variety of shift options and a supportive work environment where your skills will make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

CT Scanning: Operate CT scanners to obtain high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes.
Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for CT exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Image Quality: Review and assess the quality of images, making adjustments as necessary and consulting with radiologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and equipment status.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Certification: ARRT certification in CT (Computed Tomography) required.
Licensure: Valid New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
Experience: Preferred 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills: Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and equipment, strong attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.
