ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, BEHAVIOR SERVICES
The Arc of Union County, Inc. is a non-profit, 501c (3) organization headquartered in Springfield, NJ, dedicated to the lives of individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc serves more than 1,000 adults and children each month from the 21 towns in Union County, as well as the greater Northern and Central NJ counties. The Arc of Union County is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director, Behavior Services to support our team. The Assistant Director, Behavior Supports Services is responsible for providing evidence-based Behavioral Supports for adults with developmental disabilities that includes a complete assessment of the challenging behavior(s), development of a structured behavioral modification plan, implementation of the plan, ongoing training and periodic reassessment of the plan. The incumbent is responsible for the implementation of Behavioral Supports Activities that include Behavioral assessment, Development of behavior support plans, Implementation of behavior plans, utilization of evidenced based practice, Training of staff, Periodic reassessment of behavioral plans and monitoring of behavioral plans.
Qualifications: Must have 8 hrs. BACB Supervision. Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or social work, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Minimum of three years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities or behavior support; working with adults. Experienced with Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support Plans. Training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. Knowledge of all DDD, Office of Licensing, regulations and requirements. Must have strong management, leadership, planning and communication skills.
