Assistant Storeroom Clerk
Pay Range: $15.67 - $21.15 / hour
Additional components of compensation may include:
- Evening & night shift differential
- Overtime
- On-call pay
Per Diem Staff will not be eligible to participate in any associate benefit plans sponsored by the Health System.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists storeroom clerk receive and verify and put away orders. Monitors storage and receiving temperatures putting orders away in a timely manner to ensure HACCP guidelines are met through the delivery process. Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment in the dock, storeroom and walk-in coolers and freezer. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must complete safe food handler certification prior beginning work in the kitchen, and annually thereafter. Must have and maintain a driver's license with a record in good standing.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Ability to read and following written instructions and check invoices. Basic mathematic skills required. Good oral communication and customer service skills. Ability to effectively and respectfully interact with staff and the public within the organization and community.
