Job Summary
- Support all aspects of the monthly and annual financial close for the health system including (Foundation, Hospital and Affiliates)
- Support the daily operations of the company's accounting, A/P and payroll departments
- Coordinate general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, revenue recognition, inventory, tax, treasury and internal controls
- Be a key contributor towards the preparation and review of all financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, FASB and IFSR
- Serve as a key contributor to external auditors and facilitate annual audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee annual 990 filings
- Support and implement the development of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Act as a key contributor in the design and maintenance of the company's financial and reporting systems
- In coordination with Finance, monitors financial results and manages expenses within approved budgets.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement time-saving solutions
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors and/or Master's in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
