The Associate Scientist position under the guidance of Laboratory Animal Veterinarian and Director will provide study support and world class animal care to impact drug development and discovery and improve human health. Study support may include:

  • Compound administration
  • Dosing (All routes)
  • Sampling
  • Tissue collection



Job duties include understanding and executing in vivo studies including collaborating with researchers obtaining formulated diets, monitoring, and maintaining equipment, perform veterinary rounds including weekends and holidays, assist with perioperative care, provide husbandry oversite on weekends including room checks and emergency facility issues, and learn new procedures as needed.

The ideal candidate should be team oriented, value workplace collaboration and can work with minimal to no supervision.

Education and Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma and 2+ years of relevant research experience or a B.S. in biology or related field
  • AAALAS certification within one year of hire

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:
$66,600.00 - $113,300.00
