Summary: 

• The Senior Molecular and Cellular Biology Research Scientist will design, execute, optimize, and analyze advanced molecular, cellular, genomic, and functional studies to support mechanistic and translational research programs. 
• The role requires expertise in molecular biology, genome engineering, stem cell biology, genomics, high-throughput screening, advanced microscopy, and cellular functional assays.
• The successful candidate will contribute to experimental design, assay development, data analysis, laboratory quality control, and multidisciplinary research collaborations while ensuring scientific rigor, reproducibility, and compliance with laboratory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a closely related life sciences discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory or research experience in molecular biology, cellular biology, genomics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and experimental data analysis.
• Working knowledge of genome engineering, stem cell biology, genomic workflows, cellular assays, and laboratory quality control.
• Experience operating laboratory equipment and maintaining accurate scientific records.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• CRISPR/Cas genome editing, molecular cloning, plasmid engineering, and construct validation.
• Mammalian cell culture, stem cell maintenance, differentiation, and cell banking.
• DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR, NGS sample preparation, sequencing library preparation, and transcriptomic analysis.
• Western blotting, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, histology, and microscopy.
• High-throughput screening, reporter assays, flow cytometry, Seahorse metabolic analysis, and multi-electrode array platforms.
• Cell line authentication, mycoplasma testing, karyotyping, contamination monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Quantitative image analysis, experimental data interpretation, technical writing, and scientific communication.
• Laboratory inventory management, equipment maintenance, SOP development, and electronic laboratory documentation.

• Experimental reports, protocols, construct maps, plasmid inventories, and genome-editing validation records.
• Cell culture records, stem cell differentiation protocols, cell characterization results, and cell banking documentation.
• DNA, RNA, and protein isolation records, sequencing preparation documents, library quality control reports, and multi-omics analytical summaries.
• Protein characterization reports, microscopy datasets, histological analysis records, and quantitative image analysis results.
• High-throughput screening assay development plans, validation reports, and screening datasets.
• Cell line quality control records, laboratory inventory databases, equipment inspection reports, and instrument validation documentation.
• Scientific presentations, weekly laboratory updates, technical reports, manuscripts, and research documentation.
