The Biomedical Technician I will provide Biomedical technology support for clinical departments by maintaining therapeutic and diagnostic equipment to insure the availability of technology to the point of care in a safe and professional manner.
Additional Information:
Minimum Experience Preferred: 2 years in a biomedical technician position

Description
1. Performs bench work and practices troubleshooting and inspection of all general medical equipment.
2. Develops safe troubleshooting/service techniques and know all aspects of Clinical Engineering safety responsibilities.
3. Becomes familiar with using test equipment, hand tools, service manuals and online documentation.
4. Completes 100% Life Support PMs and a minimum of 95% Non-Life Support PMs that are assigned monthly.
5. Efficiently uses a computer to access electronic and on-line service manuals and medical device vendor websites.
6. Becomes familiar with the medical equipment database and how to accurately document service activity.
