Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA for Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

Role Summary

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) evaluate and treat children who have been diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disabilities using the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). BCBAs develop treatment plans focused on the cognitive, educational, vocational and social challenges encountered by individuals with these development disabilities.


  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field and currently a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing
  • Strong Leadership and Management Skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred 2-year experience as a behavior analyst in a clinical setting or with learners diagnosed with autism
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites
  • Ability to build a positive rapport and trust with parents/guardians and treatment team
  • High level of drive, motivation, passion and energy during work hours
  • Fluent knowledge and utilizing of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Engage in ethical and professional behavior at all times
  • Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned caseload
  • All other duties related to behavior analytic services deemed necessary by the BACB and insurance guidelines (preauthorization reports, progress reports, clinical notes, etc.)
  • Perform initial and subsequent assessments for all learners
  • Ensure learner treatment integrity and program for generalization
  • Attend and present data and progress at monthly parent meetings, IEP's, etc.
  • Shape therapists/paraprofessionals behavior utilizing feedback systems
  • Supervise and shape interns
  • Complete daily documentation: clinical notes, daily time audit, scheduling,
  • Create, manage and archive client files
  • Analyze and review data; data driven decisions; Input daily data and graph weekly for visual analysis
  • Home visits as decided by the team, school consultations, and community outings
  • Management of scheduling and placement of therapists for home-based clients in cooperation with the scheduling coordinator
  • Develop and manage individual program binders
  • Host and present progress, data, and visual analysis to caregivers via a team meeting no less than monthly for each learner on caseload
  • Independently seeks professional development
  • All other duties that may arise from employment
