As a Burn Care Technician, you aren't just assisting; you're a vital link in the recovery journey for patients of all ages-from our smallest pediatric cases to our resilient seniors. Working alongside a dedicated team of RNs and physicians, you'll provide the high-touch, specialized care that helps our patients heal and regain their independence.
What You'll Do:
- Be the Hands-On Hero: Deliver essential daily care (ADLs) and clinical procedures, including specialized dressing changes and vital sign monitoring.
- Be the Eyes and Ears: Observe patient progress closely and advocate for their needs by reporting real-time changes to the medical team.
- Collaborate & Connect: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Own the Details: Keep precise documentation of the care you provide, ensuring our patients have a seamless recovery record.

Hourly Pay Range: $16.87 - $24.88
The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base rate of pay.
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED and certification from an accredited nursing assistant/health aide program.
- Experience:
- Prefer at least one (1) year of hospital experience as a CNA, PCT, or EMT, preferably in a burn/wound care environment.
Certification/Licensure:
- Requires certification by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as a CNA or certification as an EMT by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, Trauma System for EMTs, or a nationally recognized equivalent certificate.
- Requires a BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- PALS, ACLS, and ABLS certification is preferred within one year of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
- Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
