Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist

Responsible for delivery of health care services to assist in diagnosis and treatment, and by performing radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an Allied Health Program.
2. Additional certifications preferred (RTRCV; CVT)
Previous Experience:
1. Previous radiology experience with competency in special imaging techniques demonstrating vascular and/or cardiac structures preferred.
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:
1. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in radiography, or equivalent.
2. Louisiana state license required as a Radiologic Technologist
3. Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers by American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
