Cash Processing Representative

Position Summary

Expedite daily processing of cash receipts to ensure an audit trail is in place for the receiving, reconciling, posting and deposit of cash and processing of refunds. Cash defined as EFT, Check, Credit Cards, EFT, US Dollars and any other form of payment accepted

Primary Position Responsibilities

1. Utilize strong computer skills with tools provided
2. Maintain daily posting and reconciling of cash accounts
3. Follow Revenue Cycle path as pertains to position
4. Practice excellent time management

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Associates Degree in Business Administration, Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP)

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Preferred:

2 years customer service experience, hospital or physician cash posting and insurance billing experience

License, Registry or Certification:

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Detail oriented, bookkeeping skills, use of calculator, Team player

Preferred:

Previous cash posting experience in hospital, physician practice, banking
