CAT SCAN
- POSITION SUMMARY
- Produces CT images under the clinical supervison of a Radiologist. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations
- EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Required:
- Graduation from a CAHEA (AMA) accredited radiography program, or the equivalent.
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with up to date continuing education credits.
- BCLS certified; recertification required annually.
- Incumbent will receive on-the-job training in CT applications, if hired without experience.
- Preferred:
- Associate Degree in radiography and ARRT certified. Completion of formal training program in CT Technology, and certified (ARRT-CT).
