Cat Scan Technologist

Responsible for performing computed tomography exams and related processing procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:

1. Graduate of Radiology Tech program required.

Previous Experience:

1. Prior experience preferred, extensive on the job training.

Other Special Training/Skills:

1. Ability to operate CT equipment, manage patient care, and follow oral and written instructions.

Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:

1. Certification by ARRT ( R ) required.
2. Current and valid Louisiana credentials as a Radiologic Tech required.
