Cataract Surgeon
Private, physician-owned MD/OD practice in Albany, New York is seeking a Comprehensive/Cataract Surgeon to take over for a retiring physician. This is a rare opportunity to step into an established, high-volume patient base with immediate surgical volume from day one.
The incoming surgeon will join a well-respected, collegial team in a newly expanded and updated facility with excellent clinical and surgical support. The practice offers a strong pathway to long-term ownership, including a two-year partnership track and potential ASC buy-in opportunity.
Position Highlights

- Full technician and clinical support

- Complex cases referred out
- Primarily comprehensive ophthalmology, cataracts, MIGS, and lasers
Surgical Volume
- Current surgeons performing approximately 45-60 cataracts weekly
- One dedicated OR day per week at the ASC
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary of $300,000+ Bonus
