Travel Cath Lab Tech jobs in Florida let you assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement. You will operate specialized imaging equipment, monitor patient vitals, and maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the lab, assisting physicians, documenting procedures, and following radiation safety protocols.
Required qualifications are an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular or radiologic technology, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and licensure for radiologic technologists in Florida. RCIS or ARRT certification is typically required for Cath Lab roles. Recommended skills include strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, EKG interpretation, and teamwork.
