Certified Dietary Manager Position Summary

Responsible for organizing and managing the Food Service Department in accordance with all applicable regulations and guidelines. Acts as the liaison between the Food Service Department, the administrator and other departments within the facility. The Food Service Director has the responsibility of integrating therapeutic and administrative aspects of food and nutrition as directed by the dietician or other qualified nutrition specialists.

Certified Dietary Manager Position Requirements

Education

• Degree in Nutrition or related field preferred or completion of 90-hour course approved by the Respective State Department of Public Health.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certificati
• CPR certificationon.

Experience

• Prefer three years of demonstrated successful long-term supervisory experience.
• Basic culinary skills preferred, plus ability to interact with people in rapidly changing situations.

Certified Dietary Manager Work Schedule

• May be assigned to day or evening shifts as necessary and participate in weekend rotation.
