Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant/COTA SNF

Rehabilitation Company that operates in Skilled Nursing Facilities seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)  to assist the Occupational Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment with rehabilitative activities for patients who may have developmental, physical and emotional impairments. Prepares equipment for treatment and may perform clerical duties for the department. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Occupational Therapy field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

Requires a minimum education level of an associate's degree from an accredited program. License or Permit
Certification by Arizona State Office of the Professions and practices Occupational Therapy according to the state

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Must be able to safely lift/carry 50-100lbs
• Must be able to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving,
and lifting patients and/or equipment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patient, resident and staff.
