Charge Description Master (CDM) Manager

We're seeking an experienced Charge Description Master (CDM) Manager to lead our CD) operations and help ensure the integrity of our billing and pricing infrastructure across a diverse healthcare system.

    This is a remote position in which we are able to employ in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin

  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • Provides oversight of chargeable items and services billable to hospital and clinic patients with applicable federal/state rules and regulations. This department is responsible for all lines of business in all service locations.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Health Administration related field or equivalent experience required.
    • Three (3) years Charge Master experience required. Experience with multi-facilities preferred.
    • Two (2) years experience in a healthcare supervisory/leadership position required.
    • One (1) year coding or auditing experience required.
    • Certification status as CPC, CCS or CCS-P preferred.
    • Experience and/or training in the following preferred:
      • Billing functions.
      • Functions of a Regional Business Office.
      • Applicable coding rules and compliance guidelines.
