Chemical Engineering Manager with Chemical Industry PM Exp
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Engineers and Maintenance Technicians
- Formulate and execute annual capital budgets while creating estimates and schedules for project costs.
- Oversee the installation and offer progress updates to ensure the effective operation of plant projects.
- Devise and carry out strategies focused on preserving, improving, or expanding the plant's capital infrastructure.
- Take the lead in identifying, planning, and executing projects geared towards improving current manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, cutting costs, enhancing yields, and reducing waste.
- Engage external engineering firms when internal expertise is unavailable.
- Develop and put into action training programs for introducing new technologies or equipment
- Provide technical engineering assistance to the plant, which includes developing and maintaining technical and engineering standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Previous experience in the Chemical Processing Industry is required
- Previous experience in Engineering Management is required
- Previous experience in Developing & Managing Budgets is required
- Project Management experience
- Microsoft Office
- Verbal and Written communication skills
- ISO Standards
