Clerical Technician
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Front Office Clerk to join our Neurology Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
- Status: Full Time
- Work Shift: Days
- Hours: Mon -Fri, 8: 30a.m - 5: 00p.m
What Your Day Looks Like: Experts at the CMH Neurology and Headache Clinic diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Together, they assist patients with:
- Dementia
- Headaches
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Epilepsy
- Other neurological diseases.
They offer the most recent treatments, accompanied by personalized care and respect.
As a Clerk, you will be:
- Working closely with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and registered medical assistants
- Answering the telephone and routing to appropriate people
- Scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, updating consents, patient insurance, and demographics.
- Collecting clinic co-pays, obtaining medical records, and assisting with coordination of referrals.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 year customer service in healthcare or clerical
Skills: Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
