Position Overview:

The Clinical Care Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Manager in providing administrative and clinical leadership. Presents self as a dedicated health care professional, patient advocate, mentor and leader. The Clinical Care Coordinator provides leadership to the nursing staff, provides training and orientation to new RN employees, enforces policies, procedures. In addition, he/she functions as a staff nurse.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3-5 years current clinical nursing background  required
• BSN Preferred
• Registered Nurse (R.N.) with valid license
• Five (5) years of progressive clinical experience to include acute care cardiac nursing, acute care telemetry, critical care/emergency nursing, case management, charge nurse/house supervision, or transfer center experience
• BLS, ACLS Required
• Progressive track record of leadership  responsibilities

Knowledge/Skills:

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, leadership, teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to think quickly and multitask effectively
• Ability to complete job duties autonomously
• Proficient with using computer and software applications
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
