ConvenientMD clinics always have a physician on site in state‐of‐the‐art facilities equipped with digital x‐ray, lab, ECG and IV. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSBILITIES: 1. Obtaining vitals and patient histories 2. Testing: vision, audiometers, drug screens, breath alcohol, EKG;s, pulmonary function testing, nerve conduction screens, Phlebotomy and corresponding paperwork/computer work for lab tests ordered 3. Injections: subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular and accurate completion of pertinent paperwork 4. Point of care testing: strep, drug screens, mono, glucose, influenza, Urine pregnancy, H. Pylori, Urinalysis 5. Dispensing pre‐packaged medications and other treatment modalities 6. Sterile technique with trauma patients, instrument cleaning and sterilization 7. Assisting in scheduling ancillary appointments for patients 8. Assisting providers with exams and testing (pelvic exams, eye irrigations and ear irrigations, I&D's, Joint injection preparation, and casting/splinting preparation) 9. Maintaining confidentiality with all patient information 10. Participating in patient call‐backs and follow‐up EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Prefers two years of experience 2. Licensed RN, urgent care clinic or ED experience preferred 3. BLS certification.
