CLINICAL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

- Job Summary:
- In collaboration with practice leadership provides day-to-day guidance and coordination of patient care services. Provides assistance to the practice manager by performing administrative and clinical duties to include directing, supervising, and coordinating of clinical and non-clinical staff. Facilitates and supports activities to deliver quality care and effective operations of assigned physician outpatient practice. Additional clinical duties assisting physician with patient care, examining and treating patients and/or in-office procedures.
- Education:
- Minimum of a high school education, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in healthcare related field preferred
- Registration/Certification/Licensure:
- Medical Assistant Certification required; CCMA, RMA, CMA, EMT or equivalent required. Active Basic Life Support certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 3-4 years of customer service/administrative or clinical support and supervisory experience, preferably in ambulatory care or physician practice setting. Supervisory experience may include official or unofficial roles with exposure to management assignments, where leadership skill set is evident.
- Other Requirements:
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
