Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations (intakes, testing, differential diagnosis).
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and confidentiality requirements.

Required skills

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills across a range of presenting problems.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to document clearly and concisely in EMRs.
  • Cultural humility and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to manage risk, perform crisis intervention, and coordinate care across systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload while meeting documentation and productivity expectations.

Relevant qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program (or equivalent) required.
  • Current, active state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the United States, or license-eligible with a clear plan to obtain licensure.
  • Appropriate post-doctoral supervised clinical experience (varies by state licensing requirements); typically 1–3+ years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience with psychological testing and report writing preferred.
  • Background check and verification of credentials required; additional state-specific requirements may apply.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
