This position is for a Licensed Psychologist position at Fort Shaftner, HI.

CHILD CARE BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH DODI 1402.5₠ ENCLOSURE 5, MEMORANDUM DATED MARCH 6,1992 SUBJECT "CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGRUND CHECKS ON EMPLOYEES ON CHILD CARE SERVICES". EMPLOYEES ON THIS POSITION ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SUCCESSFUL BACKROUGND CHECK.
Screen and interview patients to assess psychological disorders typically affecting children and adolescents.
Independently select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests for the purpose of assessing patients' cognitive, behavioral, educational, and emotional functioning.
Diagnose behavioral health conditions in accordance with DSM-V criteria or other more current accepted standards.
Provide individual and group therapy using various evidence based/informed modalities as clinically indicated.
Consult professional primary care providers regarding the psychological functioning, evidence based practices, and screening of children, adolescents, and families.
Preferred candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
