- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Will be cross trained into Radiology or MRI.
- How many scanners/rooms?: 1 CT, 1 xray room, 1 US room, 1 MRI, 1 Nuc Med camera, 1 portable xray, 1 C-arm
- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: CT/CTA head, neck, upper and lower extremities, abdomen, pelvis, spine, cervical, lumbar, max facial/sinus, diagnositic images
- Average # of scans/studies per day: 5-30 patients per day on day shift. 2-12 patients per day on night shift
- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Meditech
- Department Specific Equipment: CT- Siemens, X-ray Siemens, MRI - Philips, NM - Digirad, Ultrasound - Philips, Bracco power injector
- Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift?: No
- Do they use RRAs?: No
- Radiologist in-house?: No
- Shifts & Scheduling?: 8s,10s,12s - with rotating call
- Do you allow blocked scheduling?: block scheduling with team input
- Weekend Requirements: Will work every third weekend with call requirements (rotate call with other tech who is working the weekend)
- Holiday Requirements: Will work & on-call rotation
- Call Requirements?: Rotating Call nights/weekends/holidays – Call is from [click to reveal phone number]. The department is staffed until midnight with call after until department opens at 0600
- Call Response time?: 20 minutes
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Scrubs are not provided. No specific color requirement for the department

- Additional Notes: We are a critical access hospital that offers CT and Xray 24/7 with no call required of staff members unless there is illness or short staffing. The equipment is good and equipment that is aging will soon be replaced. Staff can work autonomously and are supported by experienced staff. Attributes that help a technologist be successful here include flexibility, enjoying a fast passed environment that can change to a slow paced environment by the day or by the hour. Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past 12 months.
RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
