This CT Technologist opportunity is located in Tuba City, Arizona, a unique and welcoming community on the western edge of the Navajo Nation. The area is surrounded by some of the most impressive scenery in the Southwest, with easy access to the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Monument Valley. You will be working in a regional hospital that serves as a critical access point for a wide geographic area, providing care to both local residents and visitors. The imaging department supports emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services, offering you the chance to develop a broad skill set and see a wide variety of cases. This environment is ideal for CT Technologists who want their work to have a direct impact on the community and who value a strong sense of purpose in their day-to-day practice.
The CT department typically performs a full spectrum of examinations, including routine body imaging, neurologic imaging, trauma studies, CT angiography, and contrast-enhanced procedures. A typical day may include coordinating with the emergency department for trauma or stroke alerts, performing scheduled outpatient scans, and supporting inpatients with urgent diagnostic needs. Patient populations range from pediatric to geriatric, giving you the opportunity to build experience across the age spectrum.
You can expect to work with modern CT technology and digital workflows, supported by PACS and electronic medical records systems. The department emphasizes radiation safety, adherence to protocols, and high-quality imaging that supports timely diagnosis and treatment. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, emergency physicians, hospitalists, and nursing staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call rotations, depending on department needs. The hospital environment encourages teamwork and cross-coverage, so flexibility and a collaborative mindset are important. Licenses: RAD-AZ
Certifications: R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed); CTTECH-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
