Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate nearby beaches, boating, coastal trails, and waterfront parks, while food lovers enjoy fresh local seafood and a growing culinary scene. The community offers a blend of affordability, accessibility, and amenities, making it appealing whether you are on a travel contract or considering longer-term opportunities.
In this evening shift role, you will provide high-quality CT imaging services for a broad mix of patients, including emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient studies. You will work in a well-equipped imaging department with modern CT technology designed to support accurate diagnosis and efficient workflow. A typical evening shift may include triaging and completing stat emergency scans, coordinating scheduled outpatient exams, and supporting inpatients who require time-sensitive imaging. You will regularly collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to prioritize cases, clarify protocols, and ensure timely communication of critical findings.
Core responsibilities include verifying orders and patient identification, reviewing clinical indications, and selecting appropriate imaging protocols in alignment with departmental standards. You will position patients safely and comfortably, administer or assist with contrast as appropriate, and adjust parameters to optimize image quality while maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety and dose reduction principles. Consistent use of infection control practices, equipment checks, and documentation in the EMR and PACS systems are integral to the role. You will be expected to respond promptly to emergent cases, participate in call or extended evening coverage as needed, and maintain readiness to support trauma or stroke imaging pathways when applicable.
The department fosters a supportive, team-oriented environment where technologists are encouraged to collaborate, cross-train, and participate in continuous quality improvement. This evening position offers exposure to a diverse case mix that can strengthen your CT experience and broaden your clinical skills, making it a strong addition to your professional portfolio.
