Job Description:
Lime Village, AK for the Lime Village Traditional Council.
The Construction Supervisor will work in Lime Village, AK for the Lime Village Traditional Council. The Village Administrator is the intermediary between the President and the Village staff. The Construction Supervisor answers to the Village Council through the Lime Village Administrator
Typical Duties
• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers to complete the construction of two houses.
• While this is a supervisory position it requires hands on construction work and problem solving.
• Maintains project records including time sheets, inventories of supplies, tools and equipment.
• Coordinates with other construction activities in the village especially in the area of logistics.
• Other supervisory duties may be assigned in related construction fields.
Qualifications
• At least eight years of demonstrated experience in construction trades including three years of supervision.
• The ability to work independently and to direct other workers as necessary to complete the construction of two houses.
• Have lived and worked in an Alaska Native Village
Duration
This is a seasonal job. There is no guarantee that other work will be available once two houses are completed.
Pay
