30 Bed Community Hospital in North Texas Looking to Add a Controller to Their Accounting team
Position:
- Responsible for planning, coordination and administration to the accounting team
- Supervise 2 accountants and report to the CFO/CEO
- Maintain and control accounts payable and payroll
- Ensure the integrity of the financial statements and financial reports
- Understand and work within state and federal guidelines
- Knowledge of CPSI or other hospital software
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and special reports
- Participate in Annual Budget Process
- Handle and manage all accounts for hospital
Experience:
- Ability to work with practice managers, department heads, staff and visitors
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance and prefer a CPA, but not mandated
- Prior work experience in health care business
- Experience with training and implementing change
Compensation:
- $60,000-$90,000 base salary based on experience
- Sign on bonus and relocation bonus given
- 5 weeks PTO

- Texas County Retirement Plan with 7% compounded yearly
Location:
- 45 minutes from community of 100,000
- 2.5 hours to DFW and to Oklahoma City
- Low Cost of Living
