Coordinator- Inpatient Coding

The Coordinator- InPatient Coding will assist the Inpatient Coding Manager as needed with coding questions from other teammates, assigning work queues, and more.

SOME SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Assist in working the coding manager review queue
• Keeps a check on the waiting for information queue
• Assist in working the unrelated accounts queue
• Assist other coders when needed
• Come on-site as needed for coder assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Strong Background in Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology
• RHIT, RHIA and/or CCS required
