Cosmetic Consultant / Marketing Manager

Job Description

Responsible for performing cosmetic consultations with patients, quoting fees for cosmetic procedures and scheduling cosmetic appointments. Perform in room consultations as needed by physicians. Update and generate new cosmetic forms and brochures as necessary. Participate in evaluating all new industry equipment. When new equipment is purchased, set up new procedures including designing new forms, training staff and setting up appointment types in scheduling system. Set up and organize all trainings. Work with Cosmetic Manager to determine monthly specials, promotions and events. Responsible for the presentation, layout and design of all internal and external marketing including all eblasts, print ads, direct mailers, and in-house flyers. Responsible for the presentation of all marketing in the lobby, exam rooms and retail area. Maintain all aspects of the VIP Program. Responsible for Before & After campaign. Meet regularly with Cosmetic Manager to brainstorm on ideas to grow slaes. Educate staff on cosmetic treatments. Sell products at the retail store when cosmetic educator is not available.


Candidate is required to have an in-depth understanding of the most popular cosmetic procedures on the market and be familiar with medical grade cosmetic products. Candidate must have sales experience and be able to turn a consult into a sale. Knowledge in marketing including designing artwork for magazines, eblasts, flyers and direct mailers is required. Candidate must have knowledge in Adobe, Illustrator, Constant Contact, Word, Excel and Outlook programs. Candidate must have a passion for the industry, be creative and be willing to go above and beyond in helping patients and coworkers. Candidate will also present a positive and professional image of the practice to patients. Candidate will be an outside the box thinker and be able to contribute new and creative ideas. Candidate will have a neat appearance and be friendly, courteous, patient and tactful with patients and their families. Candidate must have special ability to communicate effectively and relate well with patients, physicians, office staff, vendors and outside practice advisers. Candidate will be able to work well under pressure and understand the need for discretion and confidentiality in matters relating to patients and their problems.
